Navigation Security Services Limited was established in December 2005, over the years we have worked extremely hard to establish the company as a recognised player in the security field.
We offer an exceptional range of security to every potential client from static site security to mobile patrols, key holding, guard dog handling and if you are looking for CCTV we could also refer you to our partner company Navcam Limited who offer the very best rapid deployment CCTV.
Navigation Security Services have worked with some major blue-chip companies and have done for several years; we have an excellent track record not only retaining staff but also in retaining clients which leads to repeat work.
Before commencing any site security we carry out a free site survey and Risk Assessment, these are then included in the on site Assignment Instructions.
We offer professional and accountable security services with a 24 hour control room which our officers and clients can access at any time. We are based in Wales and the west but our officers can also be deployed to anywhere in the UK, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please fill out the short form below for a free no obligation quote.
The Directors of Navigation Security have a combined experience of over 40 years in the Security Industry.
After winning a hard-fought contract, the client AIW (Amey Infrastructure Wales) tasked us with providing security and CCTV towers on the project. We also provide a mobile response team covering the railway lines to Aberdare, Coryton, Merthyr Tydfil, Rhymney, and Treherbert. These lines, also known as the Core Valleys Lines, will become essential to the South Wales Metro.
The transformation will include electrifying around 170km of track, upgrading all stations and signalling, and building two new stations.
This is one of the biggest advances to the Welsh Valley infrastructure, and Navigation Security is very proud to be a Welsh company involved in its security, thus ensuring the security and safety of its contractors and the public at large.
Balfour Beatty is carrying out essential work to refurbish the existing 400,000-volt overhead line that runs between the Bramford substation in Suffolk and the Norwich substation in Norfolk. This will enable National Grid to carry more power down the lines to homes and businesses where it is needed.
The work is part of a wider investment programme to upgrade the existing electricity transmission network in East Anglia. This refurbishment will help to deliver cleaner, greener electricity efficiently, reliably, and safely and will support the UK Government’s move to achieve net zero emissions by 2050.
The overhead line was originally constructed in 1968. It is nearly 62 kilometres long and has 198 pylons.
The two-year refurbishment programme involves replacing all the fittings and wires on the existing pylons along the route and making some changes to the existing network at Yaxley, including replacing a pylon and connecting the overhead line into the new substation at Yaxley.
Navigation Security is proud to provide static security and CCTV security towers to protect clients’ assets and ensure the safety of their workers.
